Translate Modules

Translating a module is often asked question from Arabic people. This article helps you to know how to translate the modules of our developed modules to your language. This one is not just for Arabic. And also other language translators.

As we are not knowing other languages, so we are giving option to get the translatable strings. And make the Po file for you.

If you are using any of our module, You can see a link  Translation in all our modules. If you go there.  You can see the list of languages which you have in your FA.  From the list choose your language and click the Translate button.

The System will collect all the strings from our module and generate a po file inside the same module (e.g FA/modules/KvcodesCRM/lang/). If you further navigate with your language code you can get the PO file. And download this file and open it on a Po editable softwares or from the online translating program or any paid translating softwares.

Translate the strings and Finally there is an option in the software to Compile MO. Now You can copy the mo file to the same directory where you downloaded the PO file. And then goto browser

Login to your FA again . and Click on Display Preferences and Change the Language and Check the module.

Sometimes it wont effect immediately. So give it sometime. If still not comes, Your system may not support gettext to apply translation.  or the locale is missing to translate it.

For windows, it has to enable with Gettext to work.

For linux systems, we need to have the locale to work.   Kindly google more about the gettext on wamp, xamp, or locale on linux os that you have. You can get some information to make the system to start reading your language.

And before that a note. if your FA translated and the module has not translated means, there should be something wrong in the Translation that you have done. or the compiled mo file is not a valid one.

So check all those factors while applying the translations.

If still further issues, send us back along with detailed information of how the system looks(screenshot) along with po and mo files.
